Allie's 3 AI challenges for the rest of 2026
And one of them is helping me get in better shape!

AI with ALLIE
The professional’s guide to quick AI bites for your personal life, work life, and beyond.
Hi there,
Do you hear the ground rumbling? Does it feel like the way we’re working is shifting? Well, that isn’t your tummy telling you to eat lunch. That’s your gut telling you something has to change.
Multiple AI capabilities have been granted to us this year: AI is able to work on longer-horizon tasks, AI agents can run on your own systems while you direct them remotely, live AI voice conversations can happen without it costing $10K, and more.
These three shifts also happen to be the grand challenge of my AI Agent Mastermind. And if you haven’t signed up yet, I’m telling you (also kindly) that it will make the biggest difference in how you get value out of AI and how you build a more adaptable career. Our first two cohorts sold out, and this is our last cohort of the year. Now back to the program.
Challenge 1: Stop prompting
In the last few weeks, your feed is likely filled with posts about the new wave of proactive AI agents. This includes Dots from OpenAI, Muse from Meta, Instinct from Spear Street, Grok Bot from xAI, and more.
If you’re a ChatGPT user on Pro, Business Premium, or Enterprise, you have access to Dots. Dots live right inside the desktop app: you give your dot an ongoing responsibility and it comes back to you when something needs you. Mine flagged that an event I’d registered for clashed with my meetings. I asked it to send a teammate instead, and it DM’d her for me. Or, I told my Dot to keep an eye out for marketing meetings and to always add my two marketing teammates to them whenever they came through: Dots took immediate action and added them days later when the meeting was finally confirmed.
We’re early to proactive agents, but the idea is you are not constantly asking AI for help. Instead, you are setting up the environment for your AI agents to know your goals and come to you when it matters. You can watch my full OpenAI Dots review here.
Plus, in the Mastermind, I’ll show you how to get your agents working proactively for you from week one, and my Director of Operations, Alyssa, will even teach you how to build your own custom personal agent.
Challenge 2: Stop typing
Codex live voice mode is bliss, guys. There’s no other word to describe it. For any of my yapper friends out there, this is a must-try. It’s like having a live teammate sitting next to you. I ask what’s on my calendar while I keep working on something else, and it gives me the answer while I’m still on the Chase website wiring money to a vendor.
I can even give it its own computer task or multiple tasks while I am lying on the couch. Meaning, I can yap to it, have it grab me an appointment at the Apple Store, plus add the 18 Pro to my cart, plus build me a map of all the Apple stores and apple orchards in the country, plus submit customer feedback to Stitch Fix (I actually had it do that one) on my behalf. We can talk back and forth. It opens its own browser, clicks around its own little computer to complete the tasks. I didn’t have to type a thing.
If you want to set up voice mode, here are my step-by-step instructions to do it. At the very least, you should be using a dictation tool throughout your day like Wispr Flow. Claude does not have this feature at this time (OpenAI is miles ahead on voice), so if you’re a Claude user, just use the dictation mic in the bottom-right for one-way voice.
In the Mastermind, I’ll go deeper on how I use voice every day, and how I turn the things I say most into skills so I never have to explain myself twice.
Challenge 3: Less time at your desk
When I said I’m getting more in shape, it’s from this capability. Codex is quite easy to use from inside the ChatGPT mobile app (Claude Code is a little more annoying from the Claude app, but it’s doable!) - just pick up your phone and chat with it as if you’re on your own computer. Remote setup takes less than 10 minutes. Once I set it up, I put my earbuds in, go for a walk, and say “walk me through my day,” “take me through my inbox,” “prep me for my next meeting,” or “create a story about the history of the word discombobulated,” or “write the trailer for Home Alone 2 as if it’s a horror movie.”
I’m not turning my relaxing walks into work time. I’m taking the hours I would otherwise be superglued to a desk chair and doing them outside instead. I’m literally getting more steps in every single day because of mobile AI. Just ask my Apple Watch.
In the Mastermind, we set this up together in week one, on desktop, by voice, and on your phone.
Stop prompting. Stop typing. Spend less time at your desk. That’s the grand challenge of the year and of the Mastermind, and it’s our absolute last cohort of the year. Enrollment closes permanently on Monday, October 19 at 3pm ET. Our first session is Tuesday, October 20th at 1pm ET.
